Janelle S. Peifer, Ph.D., LCP, is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Richmond. She leads Peifer Psychology as a speaker and consultant for higher education institutions and organizations committed to equity and inclusion. In addition, as a licensed clinical psychologist, she founded and leads The Center for Inclusive Therapy + Wellness. Dr. Peifer earned her Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology at the University of Virginia and is an alumna of Wake Forest University. Her research examines college student development centering on questions of identity, culture, and mental health, focusing on complex trauma.
